The Way Home

The Way Home (집으로 – Jibeuro) is an award-winning 2002 film written and directed by Lee Jeong-hyang. It tells the heart-warming story about a grandmother and her city-born grandson who comes to live with her in a rural village. The film, which reminds the younger generation of the unconditional love and care that old people selflessly give, won South Korea's equivalent of the Oscars for best picture and screenplay.
I see this film around 2008 ago, and it is when not many Korean film that showed in Indonesia, not like now (2011-2012) that a lot of Korean films and songs 'attacking' our country... I touched by how this film creating the situation between the grandson and his grandmother. Without much conversation, but I can understand how the grandmother feels about her grandson. Such a film for family, you should watch it too..
