Sekitar akhir bulan Juli, saya mendapatkan telepon dari salah satu orang kantor saya di Surabaya yang menanyakan kesanggupan saya ikut atau tidak jika rombongan kantor libur lebaran ini akan berwisata di Bali. Tentu saja tidak saya pikir panjang dan lama lama, langsung saya jawab ikut, karena status saya saat ini masih sebagai wakil independen jadi tidak perlu bertanya sana sini. Walaupun akhirnya kedua orang tua saya yang telah merencanakan bahwa liburan kali ini kami akan pergi ke Jawa Tengah, akhirnya merevisi jadwal.

Seperti halnya perjalanan perjalanan yang lain, perjalanan ke Barat kali ini juga memerlukan biaya, yang jika tidak diperhitungkan secara matang, bisa berakibat fatal. Saya memiliki sebuah kebiasaan yang unik, entah itu kebiasaan yang bagus atau justru sebuah kebiasaan yang buruk. Alarm. Saya check out dari Hotel Orri sekitar pukul 7 pagi. Jalanan di depan hotel tampak sudah mulai menunjukkan kepadatannya. Saya memanggil seorang tukang ojek yang berada di seberang jalan untuk melanjutkan perjalanan saya. Dan saya beruntung memilih ojek sebagai sarana transportasi. Jalanan yang saya lewati menuju ke tempat wawancara saya adalah jalan yang padat. Bahkan sewaktu saya melewatinya, sudah terdapat banyak truk, angkutan, bahkan trailer yang memadati.

Tanggal 29 Juli 2012, hari Minggu, dimulai dengan keadaan yang sangat sepi di rumah. Seperti biasanya, saya beranjak dari tempat tidur dan langsung mengambil botol air minum yang sengaja saya letakkan tidak jauh dari posisi tempat tidur saya. Pagi yang teduh, burung berkicau, dan bayangan dedaunan menghiasi jendela kamar, ketika saya membaca sebuah email yang menyebutkan bahwa saya dipanggil untuk menghadiri sebuah wawancara kerja. The Great Blue Hole - Belize

The Great Blue Hole is a large submarine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 kilometres (43 mi) from the mainland and Belize City. My First Sunny Flight

Until now i have taken flight for about 8 times. The first six flights are set after the sunset, so it is dark outside the window and nothing to see of course. And then come the 7th filght, around March 2011. Its my flight to Kaimana, West Papua. When i take off from Juanda airport at Surabaya, it still morning. And for the first time, i see everything from above..Awwww....

Bukit Barisan Mountains

The first time I decided to travel to Sumatra Island was to visit a friend in Medan, North Sumatra, an old friend i think. The plan is to take a flight from Surabaya, transit to Jakarta then continued to Medan. But I cancelled that plan, and decide to take a road trip. Yes, obviously somehow, I must travel from Surabaya to Jakarta first, and take a ferry ship from Merak (West Java) to Bakauheni (Lampung). And...that is a very long trip. Yes, I enjoyed and loved it! Not because the longer time it takes, but because of the view and the scenery that i can get throughout the travel.

Nostalgia dengan Google Earth : Maluk, Sumbawa Barat, 2010

Saya pernah menulis mengenai Holiday Morning Trek, itu adalah menceritakan pengalaman saya ketika bekerja di Maluk, Sumbawa Barat. Suatu pagi ketika pabrik diliburkan karena menghormati perayaan 17 Agustus, saya memutuskan untuk lari pagi. Dan hari ini saya mengingat itu dengan Google Earth.

Dunia mengenal pulau Bali sebagai salah satu tujuan wisata yang terkenal. Sayangnya nama Bali sering kali tidak disandingkan dengan nama Indonesia, sehingga sebagian orang masih memiliki pendapat bahwa Bali adalah negara yang terpisah dari Indonesia. Nomer Satu Belum Tentu Yang Terbaik, tapi Yang Terbaik Pasti Nomer Satu

Sebenarnya ini pengalaman dari perjalanan pulang saya dari daerah Jawa Tengah pada tanggal 9 November yang lalu. Seperti saya ceritakan sebelumnya, perjalanan berangkat saya menggunakan kereta api Sancaka dari Surabaya ke Jogja, kemudian berpindah bus Efisiensi. Nah, untuk perjalanan kembali ke Surabaya, saya memilih untuk naik kereta Argo Bromo Wilis. Tiket kereta Argo Bromo saya beli di stasiun Gombong pada hari sebelumnya dengan harga 245 ribu untuk naik dari Kutoarjo menuju Surabaya. Jauh lebih mahal dari tiket Sancaka? Iya, tentu saja, karena ini kelas Eksekutif. Tanpa saya lihat lihat lagi tiketnya, saya pun kembali ke rumah.
