My First Sunny Flight

Until now i have taken flight for about 8 times. The first six flights are set after the sunset, so it is dark outside the window and nothing to see of course. And then come the 7th filght, around March 2011. Its my flight to Kaimana, West Papua. When i take off from Juanda airport at Surabaya, it still morning. And for the first time, i see everything from above..Awwww....

My flight have to transit at Hassanudin Airport at Makassar, South Sulawesi, and then arrive at Pattimura Airport at Ambon, Maluku. I told you, Hassanudin and Pattimura is two of many Indonesian hero, so in one day i meet two heroes (Hassanudin and Pattimura is the name of Indonesian Heroes), hahaa.. One night transit at Ambon, i spend my night at Dahlia Inn, not far from the airport. Well, i remember that when i want to find some food at neighbour restourant, i watch at the television about tsunami in Japan. Well, its so annoying to hear that tsunami's effect will struct until there in Indonesia, but yes, i realize that the airport is surrounded by water and if the tsunami's effect came there, wow, everything will drown.
Fortunately, nothing happen. I take my next flight to Kaimana with smaller planes the next day. And when i come from the airport, i used taxi to go to the city area. The taxi driver told me that the tsunami effect has reached, but not much. On the other side of the island, it struct about 1 meter high, so when it reach the coastline there, it wouldnt more than 10 cm maybe...
It is an unforgetable moments, yet...
