IRIAN : Ikut Republik Indonesia Anti Nederland

This post should I start with a statement that is personal. Well ... personally, I am a fan of KH Abdurrahman Wahid. Anyway ... in many ways, the ideas fit Gus Dur, blending completely with what's on my cranium. If I say "in many ways" that means, because it is not all thoughts and actions fit with the Gus Dur's on my mind.

I call the one thing that really does not fit, the decision to change the name of a Papua New Guinea. Not only does not fit, but I consider the late Gus Dur really deny history. I do not think that Gus Dur did not know the history. He knows the history of Irian Jaya, but for the sake of "political support" to accommodate the aspirations of her separatist elements in Papua who want to return the name of Papua New Guinea.
